Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us at Alumni Weekend 2018! Throughout the weekend-long celebration, alumni came together to reconnect with old classmates, reminisce about their DePaul days and celebrate all that it means to be a DePaul graduate. Check out Alumni Weekend photos on our Facebook page!

The weekend kicked off with the Fifty Year Club Luncheon, which honored graduates from the Class of 1968 and earlier. Held at the Student Center located on DePaul’s Lincoln Park Campus, the luncheon featured remarks and university updates from President A. Gabriel Esteban, PhD, as well as a display featuring vintage memorabilia and yearbooks, which attendees enjoyed looking through, from Special Collections and Archives. Following the luncheon, alumni took a tour of the Lincoln Park Campus and got to see just how much campus has changed throughout the years (hint: quite a bit!).
The celebration continued on Saturday with our annual Fall Harvest event, where alumni and their families enjoyed a full day of playing in an inflatable corn maze, mini pumpkin painting and other fall-themed activities on the Quad in Lincoln Park.

Later that evening, alumni gathered at the J.W. Marriott in downtown Chicago for the Alumni Weekend Reception. President Esteban offered remarks on the university and his vision for the future, and guests had a great time networking with fellow alumni and dressing up for pictures in our alumni photo booth.
On Sunday, alumni attended the Alumni and Family Weekend Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Church, followed by brunch at the Student Center on the Lincoln Park Campus.
We had so much fun welcoming back our amazing alumni and friends that we’re already hard at work planning for next year’s celebration. Next year, Alumni Weekend will take place Friday, Oct. 18-Sunday, Oct. 20, so be sure to mark your calendars—we hope to see you then!
