Blue Demon Day 2019 was a Success!

Blue Demon Week 2019 came to a victorious end this past weekend when the men’s basketball team defeated the Providence Friars 67-55!

On Saturday, Feb. 2, the DePaul community came together to celebrate Blue Demon Day, an annual event which marks the end of Blue Demon Week (a week-long celebration bringing together students, faculty, staff and alumni to celebrate what it means to be a Blue Demon).

While our Chicagoland Blue Demons were able to cheer the men’s team on in person at Wintrust Arena, alumni in cities across the country didn’t let geography stop them from taking part in this special day. Blue Demon pride spanned 11 cities: Cleveland, Denver, New York City, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, Tampa Bay, the Twin Cities, and Washington, D.C.
