The 2019-20 fiscal year (July 1, 2019-June 30, 2020) at DePaul University was one of service, spirit and success. And thanks to our generous and loyal donors, DePaul can celebrate the last twelve months as a period of new beginnings and continued growth. DePaul relies on alumni and friends to deliver on our commitment to provide an unparalleled urban and Vincentian education to our students. $20M Gift Establishes the Grace School of Applied Diplomacy

In September, an anonymous donor made a $20 million gift to establish the Grace School of Applied Diplomacy, a new school dedicated to training the next generation of intersectional community leaders, negotiators and diplomats.
The #BlueDemonChallenge Crushes Records

On January 23, our community answered the call like never before during the #BlueDemonChallenge! In just 24 hours, more than 2,400 donors combined to raise more than $2 million in support of DePaul students, both new high watermarks for the Blue Demon Challenge in its seventh year.
Sasha and Eugene Jarvis Opera Hall Opens
In March, the School of Music celebrated the opening of the Sasha and Eugene Jarvis Opera Hall, a world-class training space for opera performance that begins a new chapter in our history of artistic excellence.
Helping Students Through COVID-19

When the pandemic hit, our community produced an immediate, unprecedented response to aid DePaul students, faculty and staff, as well as our larger local, national and global communities.
Student Emergency Assistance Fund
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Student Emergency Assistance Fund (SEAF), fueled by generous donors, has distributed unprecedented aid to students in need.
$565,000 distributed to 589 students and counting…
On average, each student has received $960 to help address the impacts of covid-19
Illinois PPE Network
At the same time as our community rushed to the aid of DePaul students, we raised more than $114,000 for the Illinois PPE Network, helping them create and distribute more than 100,000 face shields to frontline healthcare workers since March.
More than ever, our donors helped make this past fiscal year one of service, spirit and success, despite all of the challenges we faced. We look forward to continued success this year with help from donors like you.
