Beginning in 1998 as part of DePaul’s Centennial celebration, Vincentian Service Day honors the spirit of service on which DePaul was founded. This year, hundreds of students, faculty, staff and friends volunteered at various community organizations in and around the Chicagoland area. With 10 additional service sites across the country, even our out-of-state alumni were able to participate in this unique DePaul tradition.

Our student body got off to an early start with a morning kick-off in the Sullivan Athletic Center on the Lincoln Park Campus. Before heading to their designated volunteer site, students listened as President A. Gabriel Esteban, PhD, gave remarks on the significance of this special day.
